Daily spot exchange rate data
Daily spot exchange rate data acquired from Data Resources, Inc. for 2 January 1980 through 8 February 1994 are available via
Oracle on millet.bc.edu.
These data are stored in table fxspot_daily and contain columns:
- ymd: 6-digit YYMMDD quote date
- weekday: 1-digit weekday code, 1=Mon, 5=Fri
- swfranc: USD value of 1000 Swiss francs
- itlire: USD value of 1000 Italian lire
- gmmark: USD value of 1000 Deutsche marks
- ukpound: USD value of 1000 Pounds sterling
- frfranc: USD value of 1000 French francs
- cadollar: USD value of 1000 Canadian dollars
- jayen: USD value of 1000 Japanese yen
