PL 264.02 LogicThe purpose of this course is to give students a comprehensive introduction to modern propositional and predicate logic. Topics covered include validity, soundness, practical applications of logic, and direct and indirect truth tables. Upon completion of the courses, the student will be able to recognize and identify standard argument forms and to construct propositional predicate.
Requirements: There will be three exams. The final will not be cumulative, but will presuppose work done in the first part of the course.
