ckvarclear - clears characteristics used by ckvar
Syntax
ckvarclear [varlist] [ , stubs(stubs to clear) ]
Description
This is a helper command for ckvar which clears characteristics used for validation or scoring. Its main use is when experimenting with ckvar.
Options
stubs specifies that stubs (or prefixes) whose characteristics should be cleared. Its default value is valid.
Example(s)
. ckvarclear Clears all characteristics whose names start with valid_ from all variables in the dataset.
. ckvarclear foo bar, stubs(valid score) Clears all characteristics whose names start with valid_ and score from the two variables foo and bar.
Notes
Clearing characteristics from just a few of the variables could cause ckvar to have problems.
