It is an extension of {help logistic_postestimation :estat classification}. {cmd:classplot} provides a simple way to search for cut-off values. {p 4 4 2} Users may chose the number of vertical aligned symbols and the number of categories of predicted probability. It is possible to change {help twoway_options:twoway_options}. {title:Remarks} {p 4 4 2} The {bf:default graph} plots all cases if the maximum number in a probability-category is smaller than {bf:20}. If the number exceeds 20 cases each symbol represents more than one case ({it:e.g. no case will be omitted}). In this case the maximum number is shown in a {help title_options:note}. In fact the first and the last symbol of a probability category may represent 1 to max. no. cases, symbols in between represent definitively max. no. cases. {p 4 4 2} {cmd:classplot} may be computationally expensive (e.g. cases*xcat*ycat calculations are performed). {title:Options} {p 4 8 2}{cmdab:xcat:egories(}{it:integer}{cmd:)} Number of categories of predicted probability. {cmdab:xcat:(}{it:integer}{cmd:)} needs an integer from 2 to 100 as an argument (default 25). {p 4 8 2}{cmdab:ycat:egories(}{it:integer}{cmd:)} Number of (vertical aligned) symbols in each category of predicted probability. {cmdab:xcat:(}{it:integer}{cmd:)} needs an integer from 1 to 100 as an argument (default 20). {p 4 8 2}{cmd:plotall} forces classplot to plot all cases as unique symbols. This option is not recommended with large (>100 cases) datasets, because one won't be able to disciminate plotsymbols. {cmd:plotall} overrides the {cmd:ycat}(#) option. {p 4 8 2}{it:twoway_options} refers to options of {help twoway_options:twoway}. {title:Examples} {it:Default usage:} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. sysuse auto} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. logit foreign price weight mpg }{p_end} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. classplot}{p_end} {it: To produce a "clean" plot with all cases:} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. classplot , plotall legend(off) subtitle("") title("") xtitle("") ytitle("")} {it: Compare two plots (100 vs. 1000 symbols):} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. classplot, ycat(10) xcat(10) name(cp_10x10) noshow}{p_end} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. classplot, ycat(100) xcat(100) name(cp_100x100) noshow}{p_end} {p 4 8 2}{inp:. graph combine cp_10x10 cp_100x100 , rows(2)}{p_end} {title:Acknowledgements} Future versions of {cmd:classplot} may be {help byable:byable} accept {help if:if}-statements and {help weight:fweights} if requested. {title:Author} {p 4 4 2}Lars E.
