You must {it:tsset} your data before using these routines. {it:Varname} may contain time-series operators. {cmdab:clemao2} and {cmdab:clemio2} may be applied to a single time series within a panel with the {cmd:if} qualifier or the {cmd:by} prefix. {title:Description} {p}{cmd:clemao2} computes the additive outlier unit root test for {it:varname}, allowing for two structural breaks. {p}{cmd:clemio2} computes the innovational outlier unit root test for {it:varname}, allowing for two structural breaks. {p 0 4} These tests are those described by Clemente, Montanes and Reyes (1998), providing tests for stationarity in the presence of a double structural break in the series. The test considers the null hypothesis that (rho - 1) is different from zero. A test statistic exceeding the critical value is significant. {title:Options} {p 0 4}{cmd:maxlag(}{it:#}{cmd:)} specifies the maximum lag. It must be a positive integer. The default value is 12. {p 0 4}{cmd:trim(}{it:#}{cmd:)} specifies the fraction of the sample to trim from each end. It has a default value of five percent (0.05). {p 0 4}{cmd:graph} specifies that a graph of the series and the differenced series, with the breakpoints indicated, should be generated. {title:Examples} {p 8 12}{stata "webuse wpi1" :. webuse wpi1} {p_end} {p 8 12}{stata "clemao2 wpi" :. clemao2 wpi} {p_end} {p 8 12}{stata "clemio2 D.wpi" :. clemio2 D.wpi} {p_end} {p 8 12}{stata "clemao2 wpi, trim(0.10) graph" :. clemao2 wpi, trim(0.10) graph}{p_end} {p 8 12}{stata "clemio2 wpi, maxlag(6) trim(0.10)" :. clemio2 wpi, maxlag(6) trim(0.10)}{p_end} {title:References} {p 0 4} Clemente, J., Montanes, A., Reyes, M., 1998.
