{p 4 4}{cmd:imeus2} is a convenience command that accompanies 
{it:An Introduction to Modern Econometrics Using Stata, Second Edition}, 
by Christopher F. Baum (Stata Press, 2026). 
The book's examples use several community-contributed Stata 
commands that are available from the SSC archive. The {cmd:imeus2} command
will automatically install the latest versions of these commands into
the user's copy of Stata by using the official {cmd:ssc} command. {p_end}

{p 4 4}You must have Stata 14 or later to use {cmd:imeus2} and 
these commands.

{p 4 4}Many community-contributed routines are under development
and are often updated for new features and bug fixes. 
You can use the official {cmd:ado update} command at any
time to check whether you have the latest versions of all community-contributed commands
installed from the SSC archive, the {it:Stata Journal} and 
{it:Stata Technical Bulletin}, and selected user sites. If you run {cmd:imeus2} today, you
can use {cmd:ado update} at any time to ensure that your copies of
the installed routines are up to date.
