{title:Description}

{pstd}
{opt mdepriv} generates synthetic indicators of multiple deprivation.
Multiple unidimensional scores of item-specific deprivation (measured
on the [0,1] space) are linearly combined to create, for each observation, a synthetic measure of individual deprivation.
The synthetic measure is a weighted sum of item-specific deprivation. Several alternative weighting rules can be selected.

{pstd}
Individual scores are aggregated to produce summary measure of deprivation in the sample.

Details on methods, option descriptions and usage examples are available in an {browse "http://medim.ceps.lu/stata/mdepriv_v3.pdf":online manual}.
