is a shortcut for

or alternatively for

^net from http://www.stata.com/users/^ ^net link^ who

^userprog^ who what

is a shortcut for

or alternatively for

^userprog^ is not smart. You must type who and what exactly as used at the website in question. It must be ^wgould^, not ^wwg^ or ^Bill Gould^ or any other version. It must be ^ssc-ideas^, when relevant.
