Programming Languages Group
The Programming Languages Group started as the C/C++ Group which held sessions
since the first conference meeting of the
Society of Computational Economics in 1995. To expand the interests of
coverage, it was broadened to the Programming Languages Group in 1997.
Papers with programming languages features and internet applications in
economics and finance are encouraged to send to this special interest group for
consideration of presentation. The areas of interest are, but not limited
to, the following:
- Programming Enviornment: Unix, Windows, OS/2, Macintosh.
- Programming Languages: C/C++, GAUSS, MATLAB.
- Internet Languages: HTML, CGI, Java.
- Internet Applications: Multimedia, Distance Learning.
