Economics Ph.D. Applications Procedure

Applicants are required to submit college transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and scores from the Graduate Record Examination's verbal, quantitative and analytical tests. Application materials may be downloaded from the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. Please download the applications forms (PDF format) from GSAS, noting that there are separate applications forms for domestic/permanent resident vs. international applicants. Please ensure that you use the correct set of forms.Please contact the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Graduate Admissions Office for any questions regarding application materials and/or admission requirements at gsasinfo@bc.edu.

The application deadline is January 15. All applications materials (including test scores) must be received by that date. Only applicants seeking the Ph.D. are considered; Boston College does not offer the terminal M.A. in economics.
