All materials from the previous Econ server, ec10.bc.edu (SleekIII) have been moved to our new departmental xServe, accessible at ecxserv.bc.edu from any system on campus. The server supports both Mac OS and Windows file sharing.
From a Mac OS X machine, do "Go-->Connect to Server" (cmd-K) and specify afp://ecxserv.bc.edu/users/username which should mount the user's home directory on the server as a desktop volume.
From a Windows XP Pro machine, "My Computer''-->"My network places"-->"Add a network place" using the sharepoint \\ecxserv.bc.edu\users\username which should mount the user's home directory on the server as a desktop volume.
Materials from the three Personal Storage directories on ec10 have been located in your personal directory, under your username, in the Documents subdirectory. If you had materials on more than one directory on ec10, the subdirectories are labelled accordingly: e.g. directory smith4 is user smith's materials from Personal Storage on Sleek4.
Your username on the new system is unchanged; you will have to contact TC Kathy Goss for a password.
