Daily Eurocurrency rates data acquired from Data Resources, Inc. for 2 January 1985 through 8 February 1994 are available in the
Oracle database on bcaxp1.bc.edu.
These data are stored in table BAUM.DAILY_EURODOL and contain columns:
- ymd: 6-digit YYMMDD quote date
- can3mo, can6mo: 3- and 6-month Euro-Canadian dollar rates
- ger3mo, ger6mo: 3- and 6-month EuroMark rates
- ffr3mo, ffr6mo: 3- and 6-month EuroFranc rates
- itl3mo, itl6mo: 3- and 6-month EuroLire rates
- uks3mo, uks6mo: 3- and 6-month EuroSterling rates
- swf3mo, swf6mo: 3- and 6-month EuroSwiss Franc rates
- usd3mo, usd6mo: 3- and 6-month Eurodollar rates
- yen3mo, yen6mo: 3- and 6-month EuroYen rates
As this database is a private Ingres database, you must request access to the eurorates table from Baum. It may then be accessed via $isql fxdaily.
