&nbsp;<h2>Berlin seminar on Economic Policy offered again this summer</h2>

<font size="-1">Once again, the economics department's course offerings will include an economics elective next summer in Berlin, Germany. The course, <a href="http://fmwww.bc.edu/EC-C/U2013/368/EC368.U2013.php">EC368: Economic Policy Analysis from a European Perspective</a> is offered through the university's <a href="http://www.bc.edu/international">Office of International Programs</a> (OIP), in conjunction with the prestigious German economic research institute <a href="http://diw.de/en">DIW Berlin</a>. It is cross-listed as IN 368 for students in the <a href="http://www.bc.edu/schools/cas/isp/home.html">International Studies</a> program. The course was offered in Summer 2011 and Summer 2012, and was very well received by participants. The three-credit-hour course will be held over a 3.5-week period, starting in Commencement week, and will feature presentations by economic researchers from DIW Berlin combined with lectures on economic policy analysis, as well as several cultural opportunities in Germany's capital.  Assoc. Prof. <a href="/ec/baum.php">Christopher F Baum</a>, who is also a DIW Research Professor, is leading the course.
