Three additions to the company of scholars

The latest additions to the department's roster of Ph.D.s are Mikhail Dmitriev, a native of Russia, who defended on 2 April, Inacio Bo, a native of Brazil, who defended on 24 April, and Rucha Bhate, a native of India, who defended on 29 April. Dmitriev wrote "Essays in International Macroeconomics," advised by Profs. Susanto Basu and Fabio Ghironi. He has accepted a tenure track position as assistant professor at Florida State University. Bo wrote "Essays in Matching Theory and Mechanism Design," advised by Prof. Utku Ünver. He has accepted a post-doctoral appointment in Berlin. Bhate wrote "Essays on Macroeconomics of Emerging Markets", advised by Profs. Christopher Baum, Fabio Ghironi and Peter Ireland. Our congratulations to Dr. Dmitriev, Dr. Bo and Dr. Bhate.
