The latest in a series of joint BC-BU seminars, the Green Line Macro Meeting, was held on November 2 on the BC campus. The seminar, organized this term by BC's Fabio Schiantarelli and BU's Simon Gilchrist, presents the work of junior scholars and Ph.D. candidates from the two institutions, widened this term to include the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
The seminar, held each semester, included three papers by BC researchers, two by BU researchers and one by a Boston Fed researcher. Each paper is formally discussed by a senior faculty member from the other institution, followed by an open discussion from participants.
This semester's GLMM brought out a sizable crowd of Ph.D. students and faculty from both departments. The full program, links to downloadable papers, and additional photos are available on the GLMM seminar page.
