The latest addition to the department's roster of Ph.D.s is Dessislava Slavtcheva, a native of Bulgaria, who defended her dissertation on 5 July. She wrote "Financial Development, Exchange Rate Regimes, and Productivity Growth," advised by Prof. Fabio Ghironi. She has accepted a position at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.
