The latest additions to the department's roster of Ph.D.s are Stacey Chan, who defended her dissertation on 10 July, and Kyle Buika, who defended his dissertation on 24 July. Both are natives of USA. Chan wrote "Unintended Policy Effects and Youth Crime," advised by Prof. Andrew Beauchamp. She has accepted a position with Analysis Group. Buika wrote "Essays in Applied Microeconomics," advised by Prof. Julie Mortimer. He has accepted a position with Acumen LLC. Our congratulations to Drs. Chan and Buika.
