The latest additions to the department's roster of Ph.D.s are Brent Bundick, Federico Mantovanelli, and Jonathan Hoddenbagh, who defended on March 11, March 17, and March 25, respectively. Bundick, a native of USA, wrote "Monetary Policy and the Great Recession", advised by Prof. Susanto Basu. He has accepted a position as economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Mantovanelli, a native of Italy, wrote "Essays in Development Economics," advised by Profs. Scott Fulford and Mathis Wagner. He has accepted a position at The Analysis Group. Hoddenbagh, a native of USA, wrote "Essays in International Macroeconomics and Finance," advised by Prof. Fabio Ghironi. He has accepted a tenure-track position at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies. Our congratulations to Dr. Bundick, Dr. Mantovanelli and Dr. Hoddenbagh.
