The latest addition to the department's roster of Ph.D.s is Wataru Hirata, a native of Japan, who defended on 7 May. He wrote "Financial Market Imperfections and Aggregate Fluctuations," advised by Prof. Susanto Basu. Our congratulations to Dr. Hirata.
