Three additions to the company of scholars

The latest additions to the department's roster of Ph.D.s are Jin-Young Choi, a native of China, Orhan Aygun, a native of Turkey, and Tamas Briglevics, a native of Hungary, who defended on 6, 8 and 13 May, respectively. Choi wrote "Two-Stage Semiparametric Estimators for Limited Dependent Variables and its Applications," advised by Roche Prof. Arthur Lewbel. She has accepted a position as an assistant professor at the University of Frankfurt, Germany. Aygun wrote "Three Essays on Matching with Contracts," advised by Prof. Tayfun Sönmez. He has accepted a position as an assistant professor at Bogaziçi University in Istanbul. Our congratulations to Dr. Choi and Dr. Aygun. Briglevics wrote "Essays on Money and Credit," advised by Murray and Monti Prof. Peter Ireland. He has accepted a position in the research department of the National Bank of Hungary.
