The latest additions to the department's roster of Ph.D.s are Zhaochen He and Jinghan Cai, both natives of China, who defended their dissertations on August 7 and 19, respectively. Zhaochen He wrote "On the Existence of a Behavioral Component to the Business Cycle", advised by Prof. Donald Cox. Dr. He has accepted an academic position at Lewis and Clark College. Jinghan Cai wrote "Essays in Financial Economics", advised by Prof. Zhijie Xiao. Dr. Cai has accepted an academic position at the University of Scranton.
