Eight Ph.D.'s awarded in University commencement

The 136th commencement exercises of Boston College were held on 21 May 2012. Eight economics students received the Ph.D. since the last commencement. They are listed with their thesis topics and advisors. Sixteen students were awarded the M.A. degree at the commencement exercises: Namsil Choi, Filippo De Marco, Rosalia Greco, Lauren Hoehn, Sylvia Hristakeva, Igor Karagodsky, Mashfiqur Khan, Junghyyun Kwon, Irina Manea, Akihiro Nakano, Viola Rudenko, Samuel Selikoff, Dimitar Simeonov, German Velasco, Tao Yang, and Wen Zhang.
