Two additions to the company of scholars

The latest additions to the department's roster of Ph.D.s are Devlin Hanson, a native of USA, and Anna Blank, a native of Russia, who defended their dissertations on 1 October. Dr. Hanson wrote "Two Essays on the Interaction between Marriage and Policy," advised by Prof. Mathis Wagner. She is currently employed at the Urban Institute in Washington DC. Dr. Blank wrote "Two Essays on the Long-term Consequences of the EITC Program," advised by Profs. Peter Gottschalk and Andrew Beauchamp. She is currently employed by The Analysis Group.
