Faculty Elections, Spring 2024

Faculty members of the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences were elected to committees this spring to begin service in 2024.

Nominations closed on 1 March 2024.

The polls closed on 25 March 2024.

Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences Promotions Committee

This committee has six faculty members, two from each division: Humanities, Social Sciences and History, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science, with no more than one member from any one department of the college. Nominees must be tenured professors or associate professors. At least four of the six faculty members, and at least one from each division, must hold the rank of Professor.  Voting is across the college, with the entire eligible faculty voting for candidates from all divisions. Only tenured and tenure-track faculty are eligible to vote for the Promotions Committee. Terms are for two years with one member from each division to be elected each year.

This committee has nine faculty members, three from each division: Humanities, Social Sciences and History, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science--elected by the faculty of that division. All full-time faculty, including Professors of the Practice, can serve. The term of office is three years. No department may have more than one member on the committee.
