  1. Find 2*(2^2) things about the number 2. Words involving the number 2 are included, but trivial instances such as "two turtle doves" are not going to receive much credit.
  2. Using 28 matches (or toothpicks), list the numbers from 1 to 9. You may not break the matches in pieces, or light them, or destroy them in any way.
  3. Explicate yavadunam, the method discussed in class for squaring numbers quickly, using the formulas
