Roman numeral exercises

  1. Construct an addition and a multiplication table in Roman numerals up to 13+13 and 13*13.
  2. Find 5 dates in Roman numerals (either on campus buildings or in Menninger), and translate them into base 10. If you have trouble finding 5 dates, you can substitute for two of the instances two famous historical dates, and convert them from base 10 into Roman numerals.
  3. Read the following in Menninger:

  4. Write out an addition table and a multiplication table for hexadecimal, up to F16+F16 and F16*F16.
