LATIN and GREEK reading groups for the 08 Fall Semester.

The GREEK READING GROUP will meet beginning Sept. 22 at 12:00 p.m. at WELCH DINING ROOM (the basement of Lyons Hall).
We will be reading Book 1 of Xenophon's Memorabilia.

The LATIN READING GROUP will meet beginning this THURSDAY, Sept. 25 at 11:30 a.m. at WELCH DINING ROOM (the basement of Lyons Hall).
We will be reading Cicero's De re publica, beginning with the Somnium Scipionis, which concludes the work.

Copies of the readings may be found on the table in the Philosophy Department mailroom.

We invite those at all levels of Greek and Latin proficiency to join us. This is not limited to those in the philosophy department.
