ifin takes the given parameters and defines a local s(ifin) containing a string to select values of that variable.

{cmd:values} should be a space-separated list.

{cmd:variable} should be a varlist containing only one variable.

{cmd:and} if specified, inserts & instead of | into the resulting local.

{cmd:omitif} if specified, the resulting local will not begin with "if" .

{cmd:quote} if specified, the resulting local will quote the values in the if statement.
