{cmd:maketex} creates a TeXable file from the {it:using} file, enclosing it between a preamble and \end{document}. Preamble can be customized using available options. The file is saved as a {it:.tex} file, whatever its name was.

The [{cmdab:class:(string)}] option defines the {it:documentclass} (default is {it:article}).

The [{cmdab:classopt:ions(string)}] option defines the {it:documentclass} options (default is empty).

The [{cmdab:pack:ages(string)}] option defines the packages to be loaded. Packages must be separated by a blank space. {p_end}

Typing {it:packages(longtable float)} will result in : {p_end}

Packages options can be specified by listing them (separated by commas) before the package itself ; package options and package name must be separated by a colon : {p_end}

Typing {it:packages(latin1:inputenc french,english:babel)} will result in : {p_end}

The [{cmdab:tit:le(string)}], [{cmdab:auth:or(string)}] and [{cmdab:date:(string)}]  options define the {it:\title{}}  ,  {it:\author{}} and {it:\date{}} LaTeX fields (the {it:\maketitle} statement is automatically added).

When the file is saved, {cmd:maketex} displays "file {it:filename} saved". The content of {it:filename} can be viewed by clicking on it.
